The Most Sinister Piece Of Music Ever Recorded

Michael Myers Station Wagon

Everyone should have one of these. Think of how amazing it would be to drive around in one of these in a William Shatner mask with the eyes cut out in American suburbia braking intermittently as people make snide comments behind bushes...

Brutal Cars Are Amazing

Bad cars are class. The boxier and more impractical they are the better. Bad cars are like an under produced musical opus amidst many other shining diamonds. They're often overlooked, which is unfortunate. White is also a great colour for a wreck of a car. Here are a few of my favorite and memorable bad cars. Also it's no coincidence that nearly all of them come from the 80's.

Nissan Bluebird:

Opel Kadett:

Ford Orion:

Fiat Uno:

Reliant Robin (modified General Lee style):

Here's a few sites dedicated to bad 80's cars:

The great thing about enjoying bad cars is that they are completely attainable and for the price of a new mid range family car, you could have all of the above cars. You'd probably have more than enough change left over to go through the drive through of your choice also.

Your life may be significantly more in danger but you'll look cool and weird driving around in a different car for each day of the working week. -Like a more adult version of socks with the days of the week written on them. For added entertainment value you could try sellotaping them all together and still try to operate them in unison on the weekends.

Clever Touch

I was buying something online recently and I seen this little picture to show you where your credit card security code is:

I thought the name was fitting and rather ironic considering Tyler Durden's ultimate goal was to erase the debt record. A bit more humor like this is needed in otherwise mundane everyday transactions.

Check These Out

I've been listening to these a lot recently. Absolute gems:

Angelo Badalamenti & David Lynch - Twin Peaks OST (1992)

Klaus Schulze - Irrlicht (1972)

A nice gentle break from the harsh abrasiveness of my usual aural diet of noise, breakcore and thrash.

Subversive Daytime Television

I was just watching countdown this morning and couldn't help but laugh (mentally) in confoundment and gusto at the pre-advert conundrum which was:

ADDGREED

-To which the solution was revealed after the ad break:

DEGRADED

-Amazing. The placement for such a conundrum couldn't have been more apt. Whether or not this was a deliberate attempt to subvert advertisement within daytime TV or merely coincidence, I'll assume the former to be true as countdown is one of the few cerebral daytime TV shows left. Kudos to whoever came up with that one! -keep an eye out for them in future...

Rory Gallagher - 3 Weeks Left

3 Weeks Left until the Rory Gallagher international tribute festival. Go or regret it forever...

The Most basic and effective weight training regime ever.

I read an interesting article on Arnold Schwarzenegger's summarised weight training here.

Most of it is common sense and although an interesting article worth a read, I picked up that all you really need to know is this:

Perform a minimum of four sets of whatever exercise your doing with 8-12 reps per set. Apparently this is a sufficient enough workout to stimulate muscle growth and all that.

If you can't figure out how much weight to use, just be sure you can barely do the last rep of the last set and this should do the trick. Eventually you'll get used to this the more you do it, so in order to progress, add more weight over time.

Obviously don't work out the same muscle 2 days in succession or you'll be overtraining. Oh, and eat well and stay off the "juice".

Basic, but it works.
