You simply must expand your musical horizons. become the antithesis of your peers. Disregard any form of inverted ethnocentrism toward music and enjoy good music. Any music. It sickens me when people pigeon hole themselves to one genre. Surprise yourself. Be it discordant or melodical... Music is vast. Explore it.

Very true. Music is neither good nor bad, except in a qualitative sense. If you like it, then it's good. If you don't like it... dont' listen to it - find something else to listen to.
