Action Jackson

This is simply one of the most ludicrous action sequences in 80's cinema ever fathomed. And as we all know, the 80's may have been the most ostentatious decade for such revelry in existence. There's also some classic one liners thrown in for good measure.

The scene here involves officer Jericho "Action" Jackson (Carl Weathers), a loose cannon police officer known for his unorthodox methods for fighting crime. In the scene here he steals a car at a launch party and drives it up a stairs with 3 separate 90 degree turns. Amazing and utterly impossible. Just skip to 2:21 and don't take your eyes off it...

Even how it cuts to the car being at the top of the stairs after the first turn is amazing. This move was obviously editorially chosen because the director had probably realised the logistical implications of such an impossible maneuver.
