Presence - Rock Your Life

Presence are an 80's glam metal outfit that hail from France. I love stupid over the top 80's glam metal as much as anyone, but these guys are absolutely ridiculous. They may also contend for the best album cover ever to have graced the earth. Just look at the style of these guys (The guy with the moustache may well be the coolest looking guy on the planet) and not to mention the font for the logo and the atmospheric smoke... It simply screams 80's. Also the lead singer sounds like a dead ringer for Sammy Hagar. An underrated gem of austintaceous 80's ridiculousness. It has everything that you'd expect from the archetypical blueprint of 80's glam rock: falsetto vocals, tapping solos, crunchy power chord reliant riffs and sleazy uplifting lyrical themes.

-Actually.. since I'm mentioning stupid 80's glam rock, here's another couple of standouts with other great memorable covers:

  1. I would just like to point out that the twat second from the left in the Presence picture is the spitting image of Bono.

    Burn that picture.

  2. Just a stupid critic from surely a stupid guy... Presence vocals are wonderful, and the music makes them a must listening for people who loves heavy metal music... you're just a morron hidden behind your computer...
